Blameless Amplifier

The "Blameless Amplifier" is a concept popularized by Douglas Self in his book "Audio Power Amplifier Design Handbook." This amplifier design aims to minimize distortion to such low levels that any remaining imperfections are practically inaudible, making it "blameless" in the sense that any faults in audio reproduction can no longer be attributed to the amplifier itself.   Key Features of the Blameless Amplifier:  1. Low Distortion: The primary goal is to achieve extremely low levels of Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), often in the range of 0.001% or lower. This is accomplished through meticulous circuit design and component selection. 2. High Linearity: The amplifier maintains high linearity across its entire operating range, ensuring that the output signal is a true and accurate reproduction of the input signal. 3. Stability: It is designed to be stable under a wide range of operating conditions, preventing oscillations and ensuring consistent...
